I’ve been getting positive feedback about my blog. Thank you for the encouragement. I’ve also been getting negative energies, too. Thank you for the encouragement, too. I just want to put things in perspective as some of you don’t understand the purpose of the blog. First off, there are 250 000+ people living with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease & Ulcerative Colitis) and a lot of them are children and teens, which means they are suffering alone. This is not a diary or entertainment for you to read. This is me, raw & authentic; in efforts to raise public awareness and possibly changes in policy making. I’m not only doing it for myself but also for that little girl whose laying in a hospital bed, the elder who is shunned, and the distressed parent of a suffering child. I’ve had Crohn’s disease since I was 4, been diagnosed since I was 14, had 4 major flareups; I believe i’m in a perfect position to talk about it, in a informative constructive manner. Much love xox

These are pictures of before and after of my colonscopy in 2010. The below pic shows the severe inflammation of the damaged lining. The white mucus is inflammation, which contains white blood cells. Inflammation protein count ranged from 35 and even went to 45 at some point. It is now at 1. The second picture is good healthy gut. All clean, no inflammation. This was after I was put on humira, a biologic to treat control the disease.

I wanted to bring this to my awareness again from Mar 12th, 2013, the day I posted it. I do feel like I am in step 8 “I am becoming whole”. I do feel like the stars are aligning, slowly and in due time.

The 12 steps of the Spiritual Journey

    3 stages:

Stage 1: Preparation: strengthening the ego

    1. separation- I am alone

    2. Belonging- I am part of a tribe

    3. Selfhood- I want to be free

    4. Communion and compassion- I accept myself and others

Stage 2: Adventure- Healing the soul

    5. Sovereignety- I am secure

    6. Searching- There must be more

    7. Surrender- Cultivating faith- by not my will alone

    8. Healing- I am becoming whole

Stage 3: The Return- Merging soul with spirit

    9. Guidance- I know my soul mission

    10. Co-creation- serving humanity; I am using my gifts to help others

    11. Transmutation- I create multiple realities

    12. Unity- All is one, and I am that
